A leaked database of 1.95 million registered members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has revealed that many of them are embedded within key institutions throughout the West. Originally leaked on Telegram, an encrypted instant messaging app, the database is filled with evidence showing that communist Chinese infiltrators hold many high-level positions at consulates, drug companies, universities and other such entities. Pharmaceutical giants Pfizer and AstraZeneca, for instance, together employ some 123 CCP loyalists. British banks HSBC and Standard Chartered also employ hundreds of party adherents across 19 branches. These two banks, as you may recall, drew criticism for how they responded to Beijing's crackdown in Hong Kong. Aerospace giants Airbus and Boeing are likewise filled to the brim with CCP infiltrators, along with Rolls-Royce, which employs hundreds of communist Chinese militants. Perhaps most disturbing is the high number of CCP loyalists who work in British consulates. These individuals swore an oath, by the way to "guard Party secrets, be loyal to the Party, work hard, fight for communism throughout [their lives] ... and never betray the Party." In other words, people who live to embrace and promote communism have secured key positions within Western society, and are now steering it to become more like communist China. "While there is no evidence that anyone on the party membership list has spied for China – and many sign up simply to boost their career prospects – experts say it defies credulity that some are not involved in espionage," reports the Daily Mail Online.

CCP represents "greatest threat to democracy and freedom" since WWII, claims DNI head John Ratcliffe

Former Tory Party leader Iain Duncan wrote a piece for The Mail explaining that the revelations prove that members of the CCP "are now spread around the globe, with members working for some of the world's most important multinational corporations, academic institutions and our own diplomatic services." "The Government must now move to expel and remove any members of the Communist Party from our Consuls throughout China," he added. "They can either serve the U.K. or the Chinese Communist Party. They cannot do both." Data security analysts from Internet 2.0 helped IPAC get the word out about the CCP's infiltration of banks, universities, consulates, pharmaceutical companies, and other institutions. It is believed that a Chinese dissident leaked the database to the public. "Despite the near certainty of being executed for treason if caught, he or she probably accessed it via a server before downloading it on to a laptop and releasing it on Telegram where it was found by IPAC," the Daily Mail Online further reports. For those unfamiliar with the process, becoming a member of the CCP is a serious affair. It is also highly competitive, with fewer than one in 10 applicants being accepted. Upon admittance, new CCP members are required to swear an oath of loyalty in front of a traditional flag bearing a hammer and sickle. They must utter their pledge before observers, basically selling their soul to the party. In a statement, U.S. Director of National Security (DNI) John Ratcliffe reiterated his view that communist China represents the "greatest threat to democracy and freedom" since the Second World War. The CCP, he added, is trying to dominate "the planet economically, militarily, and technologically." Hilariously, a Chinese Embassy spokesperson in the U.K. responded to the leaked revelations by urging the media "to abandon ideological bias and Cold War mentality and view China, the Communist Party of China and China's development in a rational and impartial manner," whatever that is supposed to mean.
