The petrodollar, which since 1945 has been the standard currency used to pay for oil globally, is quickly fading as Saudi Arabia pivots to China as its new "reliable partner" for energy and trade. These goods and services are paid for with fiat debt-based dollars that other countries are increasingly rejecting as they discover that the currency is little more than a worthless Ponzi scheme-based IOU.
