Tulsi Gabbard says Biden and Democrats share same 'core principles' as Hitler

Ex-Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard claimed on Friday that President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party share the same "core principles" of Adolf Hitler and Nazism. (Article by Asher Notheis republished from WashingtonExaminer.com) The Democratic Party's “agenda of identity politics” is one of the main reasons Gabbard left, she told Fox News's Jesse Watters Primetime. She argued that doing so undermined "the traditional democratic values" expressed by Dr. Martin Luther King, that United States residents should judge each other based on character rather than race, the former Hawaii representative said on Fox News. "And where do we see that connection? Well, these are the very same geneticist core principles embodied by Nazism and Adolf Hitler. This should be something that is sickening and alarming to every single Democrat and every single American." Host Jesse Watters said he took some issue with Gabbard's Germany comparison but agreed with her sentiment that Democrats were "putting themselves first," which Gabbard argued is "a huge disqualifier." Gabbard's comment is not the first time she compared Biden to the former leader of Germany. In October 2022, Gabbard said while campaigning for New Hampshire GOP Senate candidate Don Bolduc she was “pretty sure” both Biden and Hitler had good intentions to justify their authoritarian behavior, adding that she was sure that authoritarians and dictators throughout history "all believe they’re doing what’s best.” The former Democrat's criticism on Friday comes only a few weeks after Biden claimed on Feb. 2 his administration was the first majority-female Cabinet in U.S. history. On Thursday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the Biden administration has a majority-minority Cabinet and a majority of senior staff who "identify as female."
