Net Zero means NO FLYING at all by 2050, says British mathematician Norman Fenton
British mathematician and computer scientist Norman Fenton recently posted an explosive Twitter thread on the repercussions of achieving the
2050 Net Zero agenda, which aims to cut down greenhouse gas emissions to as close to zero as possible.
According to Fenton, the world is now entering a new phase of globalist control: climate lockdowns.
On April 10, he tweeted: "Reminder of
what 'Net Zero' really means. This graphic is from the
U.K. government FIRES project. Key points: all airports except Heathrow, Belfast & Glasgow are to close by 2030. NO FLYING at all by 2050."
This garnered various reactions from his followers. The account @FenwickProperty quickly debunked Fenton's claim, saying there is "absolutely no chance all airports except XYZ close by 2030. Wealthy people are and have always been in power, they won't stop flying long or short hall end of." Fenton replied by saying, the "really wealthy didn't stop flying in 2020. But they stopped everybody else flying. And all the airports were (to all intents and purposes) shut down."
The mathematician added to the thread that as per the FIRES project – a collaboration between the universities of
Cambridge,
Oxford,
Nottingham,
Bath and
Imperial College London – there should be no more new petrol/diesel cars by 2030. The world must only be using electric-powered vehicles and by 2050 road use would be restricted to 60 percent of today's level.
Linking a
government document, he further said that Net Zero would require food, heating and energy to be restricted to 60 percent of today's level by 2050. "That means either a colder, hungrier population or massive depopulation," Fenton noted.
Britain's 15-minute city (FMC or 15mC), an urban planning concept in which most daily necessities and services, such as work, shopping, education, healthcare and leisure can be easily reached by a 15-minute walk or bike ride from any point in the city, has already started. Which, according to the scientist, is a form of climate lockdown.
He also cited in the 17-item Twitter strand how well-funded organizations like the C40 Cities are committed to the same United Nations/World Economic Forum globalist missions. C40 is a network of nearly 100 world's leading city mayors committed to using an inclusive, science-based and collaborative approach to cut their fair share of emissions in half by 2030.

Green advocates: Net Zero will not make enough difference
Even
green advocates are not convinced that Net Zero will make enough difference.
Dr. Chris Jones, an expert in climate change at the
University of Manchester, said: "This latest government energy strategy is a weak response to the U.K.'s zero-carbon energy needs. The regressive measures on fossil fuels won't make any real impact on our bills and energy security, but they are enough to downgrade the U.K.'s role as a leader in tackling climate change."
"With these policies looking dangerously lackluster and lacking on climate action, we are poised to act if ministers have fallen short once again," said Mike Childs, head of policy at campaign group Friends of the Earth.
