A former Air Force Intelligence officer confirmed before lawmakers that the federal government is running a long-term program to recover unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and "non-human biologics" at alien crash sites. Retired Maj. David Grusch testified before the House Oversight Committee (HOC) on July 26 as part of its investigation into reports of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP). He told lawmakers that he worked as a representative on two Department of Defense task forces looking into UAP until early this year. Grusch had served as an Air Force intelligence officer for 14 years before retiring. The whistleblower disclosed his knowledge of a "a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse-engineering program" during the direction of his work." HOC members also shared that they have been denied access to investigate allegations of such a program. Grusch told Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) that he could not discuss "in a public setting" if the government has indeed made contact with intelligent extraterrestrials. However, he hinted at the possibility of Washington having possession of the bodies of alien pilots. "As I've stated publicly, … biologics came with some of these recoveries, non-human," he told the congresswoman. "That was the assessment of people with direct knowledge of the program I talked to, who are currently still in the program." Further pressing by Mace regarding evidence of that assessment led the whistleblower to remark that he would have to talk about it in a sensitive compartmented information facility. The congresswoman then raised the possibility of it in a future hearing.

Grusch: Federal gov't has crafts of "non-human" origin in custody

Back in June, Grusch said the federal government has several crafts of "non-human" origin. He told NewsNation: "When you recover something that's either landed or crashed, sometimes you encounter dead pilots. Believe it or not – as fantastical as it sounds, it's true." Former Navy pilot Ryan Graves also testified at the July 26 hearing, recounting that he almost crashed with a UFO in 2014. In the following years after the sighting, many of the sailors Grave talked to had described related experiences. (Related: Advanced, non-human UFO technology repeatedly observed, documented and filmed by U.S. Navy pilots.) "We were primarily seeing dark gray or black cubes inside of a clear sphere where the apex, or tips of the cube, were touching the inside of that sphere," Graves said. Dave Fravor, another former Navy pilot, also testified. Like Graves, he saw a UFO with his own two eyes – in the shape of a "Tic Tac" hard mint –  during a flight off the coast in California in 2004. "I'd like to say that the Tic Tac object we engaged in 2004 was far superior to anything that we had at the time, have today or [are] looking to develop in the next 10 years," Fravor said. "If we in fact have programs that possess this technology, it'd be nice to have oversight from those people that the citizens of this great country elected in office to represent what is best for the U.S. and best for the citizens." Fravor also remarked that UAP pose a possible threat to U.S. national security. He also lamented that the U.S. military and the federal government do not have a centralized storehouse for UAP reports, something the Navy pilot called a "travesty."
