Electric vehicle plant in Michigan run by COMMUNISTS pushing Chinese ideology: "I volunteer to join the CCP," say employees wearing Red Army outfits
A taxpayer-funded electric vehicle (EV) battery production facility in Michigan is
in the spotlight after evidence emerged to suggest the company is run by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Gotion High-Tech, the Hefei, China-based parent company of Gotion Inc., has reportedly been leading trips to CCP revolutionary memorials in China's Anhui Province, according to records obtained by the independent media.
During these trips, many of which occurred in 2021 while everyone was distracted by the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "pandemic," Gotion employees were seen wearing what appeared to be Red Army outfits while pledging to "fight for communism to the end of my life."
"I volunteer to join the CCP, uphold the Party's platform, observe the provisions of the Party's by-laws, carry out a member's duties, carry out the Party's decisions, strictly observe the Party's discipline, be loyal to the Party, work hard, to fight for communism as long as I live, be ready at all times to sacrifice everything for the Party and people and never betray the Party," the employees could be heard chanting during a July 2021 trip to China's Revolutionary Memorial Hall.
One month later, Gotion held another trip to Dabie Mountain to commemorate the CCP's Long March, an historic event that ultimately led to the emergence of Chinese dictator Mao Zedong in early 1935.

Gotion representative claims parent company never funded employee trips to communist China
In response to the allegations, a Gotion representative tried to claim that the company has never funded any such trips, and that employees paid to go to CCP memorials on their own dime.
"Gotion High-Tech employees in China are involved with many clubs, including biking and hiking clubs, and one politically affiliated club," the company official is quoted as saying. "None of these clubs are financed by Gotion High-Tech, and some employees individually paid for field trips to historical sites in China out of their own pockets."
"Gotion Inc. is headquartered in Fremont, California, and is not supervised, directed, controlled or financed by any foreign government or foreign political party. Gotion Inc. does observe all American holidays and wishes everyone a wonderful Labor Day holiday this weekend."
News about the allegations, including pictorial and video evidence of Gotion employees in Red Army garb, adds insult to injury as many locals in the Michigan area have been speaking out against Gotion's presence in their state.
Another major piece of evidence that Gotion does not belong on U.S. soil is its bylaws, which state that the company's purpose is to "carry out Party activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Communist Party of China."
In other words, Gotion's allegiance is not to the American flag or to the U.S. Constitution. Gotion has instead pledged its loyalties to communism as defined by the CCP and modern Chinese culture, which stands in stark contrast to American culture, at least traditionally.
Further, Gotion's 2022 ESG (equity, social, and governance) report admits that the company "carried out thematic education activities such as the study of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, red theme education, and love for students."
Earlier in the year, a Michigan law firm quietly registered Gotion Inc. as a Chinese foreign principal, this according to FARA filings reviewed by the media.
"Subnational incursions are afoot," commented former U.S. Ambassador Joseph Cella, co-founder of the Michigan-China Economic and Security Review Group. "China is on the hunt."
"The Chinese Communist Party is on the hunt. They are looking for these open doors to kick in, in states. And they have carried great sway. You just need to look at Gotion or CATL – textbook examples of this influence operation."
