McCarthy calls for meeting with top GOPs to vote on Biden's impeachment based on evidence of abuse of power and corruption

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy called for a closed-door meeting with top Republicans on Thursday, Sept. 14, to plan a vote on impeaching President Joe Biden based on evidence uncovered by the independent news outlet DailyMail.com regarding the president's alleged ties to his son Hunter's illegal business dealings. In the months that the House Oversight Committee has been investigating the Biden family crime syndicate, mainstream media outlets reported that the chamber has not found any proof that the older Biden is "directly financially benefitting from his son's illegal dealings, or that he made any policy decisions because of them." However, emails, texts, photos and documents have recently been unearthed by the said publication and this further added to a still-growing body of evidence suggesting otherwise. McCarthy on Wednesday also ordered the committee to open an impeachment inquiry based on the House GOP's investigations that have so far actually found a "culture of corruption" around the Biden family. "These are allegations of abuse of power, obstruction and corruption, and they warrant further investigation by the House of Representatives," McCarthy told reporters during a brief news conference outside his office at the Capitol. Apart from giving the GOP investigators more power to acquire bank statements and other documents that could further prove possible financial links Joe had with his son, the impeachment process could also see the younger Biden eventually hauled in front of Congress to testify under oath. As a response, the White House has said there is no basis for an investigation and condemned the announcement, with spokesman Ian Sams calling it "extreme politics at its worst." Biden even mocked the Republicans over the possibility of an impeachment inquiry but his team actually already established a war room with two dozen lawyers, legislative aides and communications staffers in case the proceedings push through. Meanwhile, the House speaker is already facing resistance to the impeachment inquiry idea from several moderates. Democrats are expected to oppose the effort, but there are also right-wingers who are also against it. Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.), who represents a district Biden won in 2020, has been speaking out against the impeachment inquiry for weeks already. "I think an inquiry should be based on evidence of a crime that points directly to President Biden, or if the President doesn't cooperate by not providing documents," he said on Tuesday. "There's clearly corruption with Hunter using his dad's name to earn tens of millions of dollars. But impeachment needs to be about the dad, not the son. Many of us don't want to see impeachment become something that is commonly used against every president." Moreover, Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) told Fox News in an interview last week "We're not there yet" when asked how he would vote on a measure to launch an impeachment inquiry. The same goes for Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO), a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus. Meanwhile, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said she will not vote to fund the government unless the House votes to open an impeachment inquiry into Biden.

Senate would likely thwart the impeachment inquiry

For two years, the Daily Mail has been reporting proven links of the POTUS to his son's shady affairs, including one that revealed the whistleblower allegations that Joe was acting as a 'chairman of the board' in his son's Latin American online gambling firm; that he shared bills with Hunter; discussed his son's business dealings with an alleged Chinese spy; collected up to $5.2 million in unexplained income; met with 15 of Hunter's business associates; and was named in multiple emails as a partner in the First Son's schemes. Despite all the exposed evidence, the first family has so far been able to dodge the allegations and the Biden family members are still free, with Joe Biden still running for reelection in the 2024 Presidential elections. Will the administration still be able to keep covering up this "mess" when the public is slowly waking up to the abuse and corruption? According to a CNN poll released last Thursday, 61 percent of Americans now believe that then-V.P. Biden 'had some involvement' in Hunter's business dealings and 42 percent responded that Joe acted 'illegally.' The Constitution empowers Congress to impeach federal officials including the president for treason, bribery and "other high crimes and misdemeanors." The POTUS can be removed from office if the House approves articles of impeachment by a simple majority and the Senate votes by a two-thirds majority to convict after holding a trial. However, observers think that the impeachment effort led by McCarthy would be unlikely to succeed even if the Republican-controlled House votes to impeach Biden. This is because it may not pass in the Democratic-controlled Senate, they fear. Follow BidenCrimeFamily.news for updates on the First Family's controversial illegal business dealings.
