Trump to GO HARD against ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and human traffickers if elected for a second term
Former President Donald Trump has promised
to go hard against illegal immigrants and human traffickers if elected for a second term in 2024.
The real estate mogul-turned-chief executive has promised to terminate the distribution of welfare and government benefits to illegal immigrants in his second term of office. Such benefits to be denied to illegals include access to food stamps, free healthcare and welfare checks. Moreover, he plans to revoke illegal aliens' eligibility for public housing and work permits if he wins the 2024 presidential election.
Trump has espoused an America First policy, and that policy extends to American workers. He has promised to block fraudulent activities within the immigration system that burden U.S. taxpayers.
Under his plan, American workers will be prioritized in hiring – a direct response to the H-1B visa program often abused by Indian nationals. It will also ensure federal contractors prioritize American workers over temporary foreign labor.
Trump also intends to block immigrants that can burden the country's healthcare system and social safety programs. For the latter, he plans to require immigrants to have sponsors so that they do not rely on U.S. taxpayers for support.
Moreover, Trump's policy if elected will require asylum seekers to apply at official ports of entry instead of entering the country unlawfully. Immigration activities conducted in response to the economic impact of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will also be temporarily suspended.
Trump's plan of action for the border crisis
Under President Joe Biden, more than seven million illegal immigrants have entered the United States. Efforts by individual states to prevent this crisis have been stymied by federal agents, who have aided border crosses in entering walls and removing physical barriers. This approach by the Biden administration has led even Democrat mayors to appeal for a halt. (Related:

Trump's plan to solve the border crisis and secure the southern border include, first and foremost, finishing the construction of a border wall. He also plans to send the National Guard to the U.S.-Mexico border for operational support missions. The former president will also reject amnesty for illegal immigrants and reinstate executive orders repealed by Biden.
Whereas no illegals were deported under Biden,
Trump plans to collaborate with local law enforcement and Immigration and Customs Enforcement to deport criminal illegal immigrants and clean up American cities. The catch-and-release system will also be ended, with those violating immigration law being detained. Sanctuary cities will also be required to cooperate with federal deportation efforts, lest their federal funding be withheld.
Anchor babies are another issue linked to immigration, and Trump plans to address this loophole of the jus soli principle in a two-fold move. First, he plans to terminate birth tourism – the practice of pregnant women visiting and giving birth in the U.S. to secure citizenship for their foreign-born children. Second, he plans to deny citizenship for the children of illegals to discourage illegal illegal immigration and misapplication of citizenship.
Trump also putting national security first
The former president is also making national security a priority. He wants to hand capital punishment for child traffickers, with particular focus on human traffickers and transnational criminal organizations that smuggle children across the border. Drug cartels will also be designated as foreign terrorists.
Trump also plans to reinstate a travel ban for nations that willfully send terrorists and criminals to America. Under the ban, refugees from certain nations who fail to provide adequate information can be denied entry. China, another nation that seeks to challenge the U.S., is not exempt either – with visa sanctions for Chinese agents that seek to steal American secrets.
The vetting and screening process for foreign nationals will also be enhanced, with Trump planning to set up a National Vetting Center to coordinate efforts in vetting individuals seeking entry. Collectively, these measures aim to reshape immigration policies,
prioritize national security and safeguard the interests of American citizens.
