The United States government has transported over 10,000 tons of armaments and military equipment using 244 American cargo planes and 20 ships since October 7 to support Israel's ongoing offensive in the Gaza Strip. According to several reports, the U.S. support and its extensive delivery of military equipment have played a crucial role in enabling Israel to sustain its relentless bombardment of Gaza. In the first six weeks of the war, the New York Times estimated that Israel has dropped more than 5,000 Mk84 2,000-pound warhead bombs on areas in south Gaza designated as safe for civilians. The Washington Post also reported that Israel has dropped over 22,000 U.S.-provided bombs in Gaza. Similarly, the Wall Street Journal revealed that the U.S. has delivered 15,000 bombs and 57,000 155mm artillery shells to Israel since Oct. 7. Moreover, the Israeli Defense Ministry confirmed that the U.S. arms deliveries contained various military supplies, including armored vehicles, armaments, personal protective equipment, medical supplies and ammunition. The ministry has also made additional purchases amounting to NIS 40 billion (approximately $2.8 billion) from the U.S. to reinforce its military capabilities. These reports contradict claims that the Biden administration is concerned about the massive civilian casualties and rising death toll in Gaza.

Israel accused of intentionally targeting civilian areas: "Nothing happens by accident"

A recent report from +972 Magazine noted that Israel may be intentionally targeting civilian areas as part of its overall war strategy. "Nothing happens by accident. When a three-year-old girl is killed in a home in Gaza, it's because someone in the army decided it wasn't a big deal for her to be killed – that it was a price worth paying in order to hit [another] target. We are not Hamas. These are not random rockets. Everything is intentional. We know exactly how much collateral damage there is in every home," a source told +972 Magazine. These blatant and heinous war crimes resulted in the deaths of nearly 21,000 Palestinians, including over 8,000 children. But as the war continues, the actual figures are expected to be a lot higher due to undiscovered bodies within the rubble.
As the conflict intensifies and the public witnesses these war crimes, support for U.S. military aid to Israel is waning. A recent Quinnipiac poll revealed a sharp divide, with 46 percent of respondents against sending military aid and 45 percent in favor. The generational gap is striking, as 72 percent of the 18-34 demographic opposes military aid, compared to 36 percent and 28 percent in the 50-64 and 65 and older demographics, respectively. This declining support from the public and the awareness among Palestinians of the source of their destruction raises concerns over potential blowback and fears of increased animosity against the United States. This, in due time, would potentially foster a breeding ground for future terrorists in the region. Visit IsraelCollapse.com for more stories about the ongoing conflict in Israel.
