Tricia McLaughlin, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokeswoman, confirmed the authenticity of the documents but called them "outdated." She stated that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi L. Noem has not yet made a final decision on TPS for Haiti or Ukraine. "DHS and the State Department are working together to further implement the president's agenda by using foreign aid money to assist those illegally in our country to voluntarily self-deport," McLaughlin said, suggesting that the policy could apply to migrants whose TPS has been revoked.
